Jay Rodgers

since 2001, Jay has served in many roles at Full moon including studio engineer, manager, bassist, drummer, guitarist, vocalist and, last but not least, owner. In that time 95% of the artists that have come through our doors were either recorded, produced, setup or mixed by Jay. Many have also seen his bass guitar skills put to use as well. if you are looking for professional recordings in a relaxed atmosphere with years of experience, knowledgeable ears, and extremely quick and efficient work in a DAW, Jay is a great choice for any style and has recorded albums, songs, voiceovers and radio shows in most any style imaginable.

 

Hunter Guess

Hunter has been a studio engineer for the last 5 years. He has been taught by some of the most talented and acclaimed engineers in the Atlanta area. Those engineers include, but are not limited to Jay Rodgers, Chris Sharp, and Kyon Hughes. He has recorded sessions in numerous studios around Atlanta, Athens, and Starkville Mississippi. He made a name for himself freelancing out of his bedroom studio in Starkville and Athens. That said, he has found a home at Full Moon and He brings a unique set of abilities that cater to the sound of modern music.

 

Grant Allen

Grant James Allen has been at Full Moon Studio since 2019, beginning as an Intern via the Music Business program at UGA and later becoming an engineer. He graduated with a degree in music composition and studied various recording techniques from industry professionals such as Jay Rodgers, Tom Lewis, Dr. Peter van Zandt Lane (electroacoustics), Dr. Tom Hiel (film scoring), and many more. Grant has been performing, composing, recording, and working in live sound for years and has a wealth of experience that has granted him the comfort and skill necessary to be a well-rounded sound engineer.

 

Vince Truong

Starting out as an intern at Full Moon, Vince has risen to the position of engineer. Through the tutelage of numerous top engineers such as Jay Rodgers, Paul Lee, and Dope Jockey, he has obtained a vast array of musical perspectives, and they have fueled his own philosophy to engineering. By combining his experiences in music production, music theory, and live sound, he strives to bring the artist’s vision to reality by means of collaboration, and his knowledge of audio and multiple DAWs allows him to do so efficiently. Whether tracking a band live or recording vocals over a beat, Vince offers invaluable knowledge and skills during the recording process.
